GCCA - Structure

Gwoza Christian Community Association is duely registered in Nigeria with the Corporate Affairs Commission. We are a non-profit and non-governmental organization which is guided and governed by a constitution. The Association was formed by people of like mind who were determined to make their community and humanity at large better than how they met it.

- BOARD OF TRUSTEE -
Rev. Filibus Gwama (Chairman)
Bishop Mohammed Naga (Secretary)
Rev. Daniel Gula (Trustee)
Rev. Abdullahi Kumangri (Trustee)
Rev. Joshua Ruwa (Trustee)
Cat. Joseph Naga (Trustee)

- Offices & Functions -
- CHAIRMAN -
1) Shall function as the CHAIRMAN and chief operating officer with responsibilities for the daily management of the ASSOCIATION.
2) He shall assist the Board of Trustees in the discharge of the duties of the Board and shall preside at meetings.
3) All other functions that may be assigned or delegated to him either by the Board of Trustees or the General Meeting.
4) Shall prepare budgets and reports for presentation to the Board and General Meeting.

- SECRETARY -
1) Shall perform all secretariat and administrative duties of the ASSOCIATION.
2) Shall take minutes and keep records of proceedings at meetings.
3) Shall be responsible for issuing notices and correspondence on behalf of the ASSOCIATION.
4) Shall in consultation with the Chairman, summon all meetings of the ASSOCIATION.
5) Shall assist the Chairman in all matters relating to the daily management operations of the ASSOCIATION.

- PROVOST -
1) He shall be the ASSOCIATION's image maker.
2) He shall maintain decorum during meetings and events of the ASSOCIATION. He shall be responsible for organizing social events of the ASSOCIATION.
3) He shall keep record and collect fines of defaulters such as late comers, noise makers or disturbance, absenteeism.

- PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER -
1) He shall circulate information to members and the public via the media as appropriate on ASSOCIATION activities.
2) He shall ensure that the welfare of members is well attended to.

- FINANCIAL SECRETARY -
1) Shall be the custodian of the ASSOCIATION's financial resources and valuables.
2) Shall be a signatory to the ASSOCIATION's Bank Account and shall pay funds received into the Bank Account within 72 hours with the exception of the imprest which he shall maintain.
3) He shall maintain an imprest of the sum of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) replenishable on exhaustion.
4) He shall issue receipt for all monies received and keep voucher of expenditure as well as proper record of all financial transactions of the ASSOCIATION.
